Garry Seghers (IFSTA President) was invited by Hue Help to assist with organising volunteers for the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) and their work to produce a presentation for the World Drowning Prevention Day on 25th July. Young ladies from Mary’s Home for Girls who are members of the Da Nang Dragon Swimming and Lifesaving Club (a member of VSLC) were invited to participate alongside Vietnamese swimming tutors and friends to meet Bobo the Hippo (the GHIA water safety mascot) and demonstrate safe rescues skills and CPR. The lively soundtrack, provided by GHAI, accompanied the event as they captured numerous photos and videos throughout the day, documenting each memorable moment.
